Scott was unarmed and no guns were found. They did, however, find what they were looking for: three grams of cannabis flowers and leaves. Scott's neighbor, Ken Pearson, told reporters "They [the officers] rushed in the door but they didn't holler anything. As soon as they kicked the door in, we heard the shot." Scott's seven year old son watched his father die as they waited 35 minutes for the ambulance. Just another example that drugs cause violence in those who do NOT use them toward those who do use them. So should we outlaw non-drug use?? (fact source: NORML's Active Resistance.
