We are white.
Black.
Asian.
Indian.
We are young.
Old.
Middle-aged.
We are your secretaries.
Your doctors.
Your lawyers.
Your teachers.
The clerk you bought your coffee from this morning.
Every day, you come into contact with us, whether you know it or not.
Your life has been touched by one of us, whether you like it or not.
We are your parents, your children, your siblings, your spouses.
If you jailed all of us, this country would fall apart.
Because we are everywhere.
