What to do with used whippet cans

One day I was sitting around looking at my used nitrous canisters when I 
got an idea.  A pipe!  After using them for making a bunch of whipped 
cream I first drilled out the tips to improve air flow.  A power drill 
and vise works great.  I use 2 cans per pipe.  After drilling I hacksaw 
one where the body starts tapering to the tip.  This piece becomes the 
bowl.  The other can becomes the body.  I use a hammer and nail to put a 
small dent near the end.  The dent makes it much easier to start the 
drill hole.  I drill in 2 stages, first a small bit to get started, and 
when I have a large dent I switch to the big bit.  I then insert the tip 
of the bowl into the hole using a hammer and epoxy to get a tight fit.  
For a screen I use metal hardware screen cut to a 3/4" square then the 
corners folded to make a teardrop.  The point of the teardrop goes down 
the hole in the bowl then I use a stick to make the bulb of the screen 
fit the bowl.  If you ram it down too far it will clog quickly.  You now 
have a a cheap, effective, sturdy, thumbsized pipe.  Enjoy!
